One final trip of the year before pulling the boat for a long winter nap. Ran out to 100 fow and found fish in 130-146 fow. Green 8" E chip with Seaweed Horse Fly landed one and missed one 200 back on the wire diver. Lemon Ice Nailer landed a nice 8# king 80 down on the rigger, Orange ICe on gold (41G) landed a steelie, black/orange on gold landed a steelie on 5 color, and missed a bite on the high diver on DOC on gold. Great action for a 2 hour stint on beautiful seas on a warm fall day, finishing 5 for 7. |

Salmonhead has seen its final action for the 2008 season. Thank you to everyone that came aboard in 2008. We hope to see you again in the future. For those of you that may have missed 2008, it's never too early to make plans for 2009. Check back to the site often, there will be lots of updates this fall and winter. For those of you that may hunt in Mi as well, there has been a baiting ban placed for all of the lower penninsula of Michigan until further notice. Michigan's first case of CWD was found in a deer farm in Kent County. |
