After the big wind yesterday, I decided to sneak out this morning. We had about 4 hours to fish and went 8 for 9. Nice mixed bag. 2 coho,. 2 lakers and 4 kings in the boat and lost a nice steelie that never hooked up. We found biting fish in the 60-65 foot range. Water was stirred up a bit and had a green tint to it. First couple bites were on Orange ice on gold (41G) and after that it was all green. Greenberry glow (18) took 3 bites on the 250 copper, Superior sunset (35) took two bites on the 5 color, Wire diver took one on the Green Captain Gary's E chip with SeaWeed horsefly behind it, and natural born hornet took one on the rigger. The 8 O'clock hour was good to us, but after that we struggled to find biters. We finished up in 110 feet taking the final fish as we pulled lines to get home for mother's day. The boat will get tranported to Muskegon for the rest of the summer mid week this week. The South Haven tournament is this upcoming weekend and I am available to fish it. I need to know by Wednesday 5/13 or the boat will get moved to Muskegon. BEWARE, SEVERAL FULL SIZED TREES WITH ROOT BALLS ATTACHED FLOATING AROUND AT OR SLIGHTLY BELOW WATER LINE!
