I first mated Saturday morning for a buddy and we boxed 4 in short order in the mud in front.  all plugs on short core and short copper.  Lost a couple more and missed a couple before the bite totally shut down. 

On an afternoon trip, the waves forced the crew to request fishing the harbor after trying it in 85 feet for a short time.  upon making it to the mud water we pulled a triple.  Bloody nose Dalmation spoon took off on the rigger and broke off.  Small pearl plug on one slide diver brought in a king as well as Tiger Roughy on the other slide diver.  shortly after, the crew could take no more of the 3' waves and called the trip.
